If Bama wins in the title game, they win the title. That's the way it works.
Lucky for LSU and it's fans, the game still has to be played and isn't just awarded to Bama because their fans say so.

If Alabama wins the game, I will acknowledge them as the national champion. They will have earned it on the field under the system that everyone agreed to before the season started. The team that earns the crystal is the national champion. Period.
That being said, I'll take LSU by 3.

Given the system we are in...yeah, I would accept it. However, I think we all know that a good portion of our fan base would claim a split.
Let's see what happens though. It isn't like LSU just left it all on the field while Bama played terrible. We WILL if Jefferson or Lee play lights-out.

Guess we will never know at least not this year. You can ask again in about 3 or 4 years it will be at least that long before we have to think about it.
