Cam will make A difference...Can he be the difference and the missing link remains to be seen.
John Chavis made a difference when he came in after a really bad prior 2-3 year period.

Not to question your intelligence, but you do realize this means Bama fans do care, right? This thread also reaffirms that notion. And as putrid as our offense was this season, LSU was 3 feet away from beating Bama this year.

Typical unimaginative Gump response, whining about someone else whining

12 sure is an arbitrary number...
Ohhhh, it's the number which bolsters your point. Carry on.

And we are .500 against you things in the last 30 years. Who ELSE has this record against The 'Shama since then. Um....NOBODY ???????

Saban is 4-3 against Miles. 7 of these 8 games were in doubt until the end. Miles could just as easily be 5-2 against Saban.
And if not for several audaciously and monumentally stupid votes in Dec of '11, and one more first down by LSU in Nov. of 12., Bama isn't even IN the last 2 NCGs....

And, for one of you things in this thread saying 'Bama couldn't give two shits about CC', you sure have a lot of you CharminDetergentTeabag Things making posts about him.........

The OP, notwithstanding, I know you had good intentions. Nothing but respect for you sir..

Not to split hairs, but if you look at it that way, Miles could as easily be 0-7 against Saban.

With exception of 1/9, each contest between Miles and Saban has come down to the wire.

Yes, they could. But not 'easily.'

In '07, LSU blitzed McElroy and knocked the ball out his hand on a forced turnover, he didn't just drop and say 'here, LSU'. That game could have gone either way, but LSU forced the pivotal play.

LSU had a 14-7 lead on Bama in '08, and had the ball first in OT, but Lee forced an INT to the SEZ
Alabama did not win that game 'easily.'

In '09 LSU's Patrick Peterson intercepted a pass with BOTH feet in bounds, not one, but for some inexplicable reason, it is called out of bounds.
Geeeeeee, I wonder why that was????
Bama won that game a little easier than '08.

In '10, LSU converted some crucial first downs and stopped Bama inside their own territory at the end.

In '11, LSU made Bama look like a playground team in OT, pushing them back 15 yards. And if not for Ford's toenail molecule hitting white chalk, it's 13-6 LSU

In '12, LSU held Bama to 45 yards total offense and ZERO passing yards until the very end. If we make a first down, the point is moot, but I think if Alleman makes the FG to made it 20-14, Bama must start with 0 momentum from their own 20, instead of all the momentum from the 28.

Even in the BCSNCG, we had a chance to cut the lead to 15-7, but a hurried pass by Jefferson was just out of the reach of Landry on a deep post.

So, Miles had chances to be """""" 7-0 """""" against Saban also.

Guess that's why they say if if was a skiff....

I don't think you can see the Championship game or the game in '09 and say that. Even when LSU was winning the series 3-2 Alabama had still scored more points over the series.

And when you factor overall records in with the games, Alabama is still a stronger team. It doesn't take a Ph.D in brain science to figure it out.

If you are trying to prove that Cameron will make LSU more likely to win more games against Alabama in the future, I suppose you have to wait and see how Saban schemes against him specifically. No one really knows if he'll be a shot in the arm or if he's in the equivalent role of being a special guest star of the Love Boat past his prime.

We shall see!

If Mett learns to move some in the pocket and his pocket presence improves, any OC will seem smarter. Mett needs to play much better on the road.LSU and Texas have both suffered from poor QB play which hinders any OC's ability to call plays.
Rettig and Jennings see to have the tools to make the next OC seem better than the ones before him.
