Coker and Henry are not McCarron and Lacy. Even if they were, that OL is a step down from previous seasons. While the defense is obviously very good, it won't be enough to win the SEC much less a playoff. Plus, they already have a loss.

I can see Lsu with 3 losses and not at the SEC Chamipionship game, and one team having 5 straight wins
over them.

I know it comes natural to claim titles your team didn't win, but no.

Are you on drugs? Didn't Bama win the SEC TITLE last year . . . with Sims?

Agree to disagree. I expect us to win every game left on our schedule. No reason we shouldnt.

No one outside of the SEC scares me.

Well, it should.

Bama will lose again before AU.

They didn't win the SEC title last year? And that was with Bama's worst team since 2007. This team is much better.

Bama can certainly make the playoff with Coker at QB.

Win it, not sure. In reality, only one SEC team might be able to win it this year.

I'm thinking you should change your thread title cause most of us are assuming a Natty.

Bama will probably drop 1 - 2 games down the stretch because of Coker.

Maybe, I thought it was obvious that winning a Natty is not something to even bring up at this point. Too far off.

The SEC title get you the chance to play for bigger things these days. One step at a time.

Can they? Yes.

I think the offensive line play has been too inconsistent this season for bama, and that is the root from which your offensive problems stem.

We did well with McElroy because he didn't make mistakes. The problem with Coker so far is he's making a lot of mistakes.

Y'all (Bama fans hacking on Coker) are forgetting a bit of information that is very relevant. McElroy had Julio and Sims had Cooper. With either of those 2 Coker would be a lot less shaky at times. Ridley may turn out to be elite, but he is a true freshman now and isn't quite there yet.

Sure. No team in CFB is even close to being elite

When people claim "titles' they speak in terms of National Titles.

Bama doesn't care about the SEC Championship, only the National Championship, remember.

Wrong question.

Should be asking if you can win the SEC west with that crappy o-line you have.

Coker played great. He was getting hit on every play and always got right back up. Got creamed on the TD pass but stood in there to make the throw.

Maybe the worst offensive line we faced since Texas El Paso.

They were physically dominated.

Agreed, this is the much better question.

You can stay delusional if you want, but he isn't as bad as you think. He has played tough and he has had good numbers. The Oline is the problem.
