Bama could rest their starters knowing regardless what happens, they are as close to a lock as possible. Problem is Saban is a dick and wants to crush Florida to make sure that 99.9% opinion that Bama is the best is bumped up to 100%.

There will be a riot when UF beats Bama and the CFP committee puts UF in and Bama out

I'm pretty sure Bama could just say frick it and not even show up to the game.
And they would still get in.
