chavis is kryptonite for spread teams...unfortunately he is average against power running teams. LSU used to be stone cold against power

Not likely. More likely that Alabama learns the LSU Solution.
Has there ever been a Bama fan anywhere, any time that didn't believe everything was about them?
I doubt it.

Luckily Auburn's tIncline has now surpassed LSU's tDecline on tCline chart

The short answer is no.

We'll see how it works out in Auburn. we can always home cook the refs. We usually do for Home games against LSU.

Gus' offense, in JHS, have had no issue with LSU since we mercy knee'd them last time. I don't see much of a problem this time around.

Must really suck to get beat by a team in #tDecline every year then.
What a stinker

It's not an "LSU problem" it's just a we haven't been very good problem. Outside of 2010 we were significantly outmatched in every game.
Even last year we were not a good team when we played LSU.
To pin it on Gus having some sort of issue with Les or Chavis is laughable.

Good question. I hope the answer is yes. A Chavis style defense matches up well with what we have done in the past. We had a very similar situation with Tuberville matching up against Urban at Florida. Both Chavis and Tuberville believe in being strong up the middle, having speed on the outside and not giving up the big play. Being able to throw the intermediate and deep passes will be the key if we hope to put this question to rest.

tDecline began 2 seasons ago...from 10-2 to 9-3
tIncline just began last year and was rapid from the WSU game through the BCSNC
We passed LSU on their way down right after we lost to them
We will win this year and for the foreseeable future. You will call 2014 a rebuilding year and everyone will laugh at you

Well, I'll take it in another direction.
It's very impressive to me that-year in and year out-Chavis is able to contain or even shut down offenses led by the likes of Tebow, Cam, and JFF. Meanwhile, Saban and Smart-2 of the best minds in CFB defense- continue to struggle.

Not hard to incline when you're coming off 0-8
