Veteran-laden team. Good run blocking and good run execution by average athletes. Their Coach is good but is doesn't have the hosses to make all the plays against better competition. Have one WR worth a damn but he's a good one--very 'gamey.' As long as an SEC team stays focused against them, they'll be okay, but the game may be frustrating at times.

This. Tailback is a HOSS. He will give some LBs a headache.

Use twice as much water as rice. Cook for 14 minutes and let sit/steam for 10 minutes. Perfect every time. Salt before you cook or it's hard to salt afterward. Brown rice takes like 3 times as long.

Good CUSA team. You'll want to go to the game to see the M.O.B. Since they're not officially associated with the school I'd guess it's 50/50 on them being able to go. If they do, they're worth the price of admission. Expect to be lampooned a bit, probably something to do with cowbells and agriculture. They're very clever in a "I'd like to shove their head into a toilet" kind of way, but entertaining, too.

Well coached, senior laden team that runs the ball well and makes very few mistakes. Talent wise you have a big edge but don't take them lightly as they won't roll over and know how to execute.

The MOB is awesome if they come, very much like Stanford's band.

This game may also have the largest disparity in average SAT scores of any bowl game.

Lots of read option. Veteran players. IMO similar scheme to auburn except less big plays and VERY SLOW paced; have a great time of the rock stat(don't know what it is though). Very beatable as long as you don't let them stay within 14 points going into the fourth

Let me put it to you this way, if you lose to Rice you were better off staying home for the holidays.

Marching Owl Band. A bunch of brainiac smartasses who love poking fun at just about everything. They're entertaining, but I don't know that they'll get to go to the bowl.

They have a good running game - 16th nationally, averaging 240.2/game. Of course that's against lesser defenses including A&M. State will be fine, but this isn't a gimme.

I kind of think if Rice wins Moo should be expelled from the SEC and replaced with the Owls so we can have a Vandy West and get more games in Screwston.

Smart kids that are probably working on mathematical equations to beat State while State skids are probably smoking weed and listening to rap music.

I also hunt ducks in rice.

Below average defense.

In terms of offense, they have a powerful running game with a 240 lb feature back as well as a starting WR who is 6'5 (Jordan Taylor). McHargue is not a great QB, but not a bad one either.

A&M averaged over 7 yards per carry though.

Rice is what comes out of a Chinaman's arse.

Serious response.
