Can Anyone Recall A Regional Where The Selection Committee Chose Who Advances?

You may have seen the thread about SC and UNCW and who would advance if the weather cancels out the Regional Mash here for that.
However, can anyone recall a regional where the NCAA Baseball Selection Committee actually chose who advanced to Super Regionals though?

it's not going to matter. the forecast for columbia tomorrow is sunny from 9 AM through the rest of the day with a 0% chance of rain. y'all will be fine

It was called the BCS and for some reason that committee, in their infinite wisdom thought the country should be subjected to an LSU vs Alabama utter crapfest again.

Not really, SC had a higher RPI, SOS, Rankings, Seeding for the Regional and we already beat UNCW headsup up 10-1. We win all the tie breakers, so we would advance.

Be glad you arent in Tampa Bay area right now....solid downpours ALL day and strong 35-45 mph winds...will last through tomorrow.
