well Tyrik Rollison's fb status apparently talks about how he looks forward to the QB competition with him so...may wanna talk to your assistants again since Cam visited Aubs
Your right Beaver. That seals it.
Look, the best thing we can do in this is just let the kid announce. After he does I will be more than happy to admit that these coaches are idiots but until then I'm going to take there word for it. You just enjoy Facebook.

Well the Relf thing doesn't matter that much since Tyrik Rollison pretty much thinks Cam is headed to Auburn. That being said, some REALLY credible Auburn guys are saying we are in good shape. We'll see. I have no idea what's going on.

It's gonna really suck for AU if Newton commits to State after all the knob polishing Auburn fans have done over this past weekend...

Although in reality, if we don't land Newton it's not like we don't have several other QBs that are capable of leading this team.

Whats funny is his interview about Auburn and Oklahoma where IDENTICAL and just a week ago every Oklahoma fan was positive he was a Sooner.
I can assure you guys that he is a Dog. Just saying, It might save you from being upset 9 days from now.

You have to realize this was all before the Auburn visit.

Look, in all seriousness, I have no clue what the kid will do. All I know is what I have been told. I am a State fan so you should know nothing would shock me. I hope what I have been told is the truth but Im telling you when your dealin with kids (especially ones that like attention like this guy) YOU JUST NEVER KNOW. Where ever he goes Im sure he will be a really good player. Thats all I got on this matter. I told myself I wasn't going to get wrapped up in all this. If he goes to Auburn then good luck to the War Eagles.

Please understand, He has been in contact with Auburn for along time and Au was not going to offer unless he came in for a visit. There would have been no reason to upset other players unless they knew he was thinking about them.

In all honesty I think we were going after Adams first, and that didn't pan out. Couple that with the recent Tyrik situation and the coaches wanted to cover their bases and fill all 5 JUCO slots. Newton loved Auburn coming out of high school but Tubs didn't offer. I'm not seeing how that's changed considering our offense was horrid at the time and is legit now.

Congrats to Auburn on landing Newton. Good luck in 2010.
