How good is this guy? I know he is very fast and has a strong arm but how is his leadership and decision making gonna be?

Time will tell. The fact he was backup to Tim Tebow says something.

Will be an average SEC QB imo. Nothing special but will put his team in position to win game. If he can stay outta trouble.

Back up to Tebow. Led CC team to Championship. #1 Juco QB. I think he will be a little better than average.............

Have no reason to believe he won't stay out of trouble...he has had no run ins with the law since he bought the stolen lap top...he is not a repeat offender...

He went to highschool so he should be able to run our offense just fine.

I was a huge fan of his. I can't help but be happy because it seems like it has been forever where Auburn is entering the season with a legitimate starting QB

So was Brent Schaeffer.

Don't get it twisted. I'm not saying Cam Newton is a guaranteed bust, but these things happen. Don't count any proverbial eggs before they proverbially hatch.

P.O.: They got a name for people like you, Hi. That name is called ''recidivism.'' Repeat offender! Not a pretty name, is it, Hi?
Hi: No, sir. That's one bonehead name. But that ain't me anymore.
P.O.: Are you just tellin' us what we wanna hear?
Hi: No, sir, no way.
P.O.: Cos we just wanna hear the truth.
Hi: Well, then l guess l am tellin' you what you wanna hear.
P.O.: Boy, didn't we just tell you not to do that?
Hi: Yes, sir.
P.O.: OK, then.

Has a lot of upside, best work ethic Auburn's had in a QB in a decade. He has a great deep ball throw, his short throws he has worked on as he tends to put too much on them.

Decision making is something we have to see when the lights go on. The tools are there it is up to him to use them, I feel strongly he'll do very well.

He had a punk mouth on the field during his JC days. How that works for him in the SEC is anyone's guess.

Hope he knows that he cant dive into the endzone at the level like he did all last year in celebration.
