I think schools are limited by the NCAA as to who is eligible for rings. Another archaic rule.
I know in 2019 there was a walk on player at LSU who did not receive a ring even though he participated in every practice during the season.
It was due to the stupid NCAA rule.
Now I would guess the player could buy their own ring if they wanted.

Pretty crappy imo.
Without Chris Leak, UF would have been Jeremy Pruitt level bad under Zook. He was basically Zook's Josh Dobbs minus the scrambling ability of Dobbs but made Zook look somewhat serviceable as a coach like Dobbs did for Butch.

The documentary left much to be desired. Had some moments but left out some stuff I thought was crucial and played up parts that didn’t mean anything.
Tebow talking about the last touchdown to go up 41-14 over Ohio State.
“We were winning the game but it wasn’t out of reach yet. It was really important we scored.”
Lmao. What? The game was 34-14 with 10 minutes left. Ohio State had 70 yards of offense and hadn’t crossed midfield since the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Just dumb.

He dealt with multiple OC’s and never progressed correctly. He was never incredible but he pretty much saved his best performance for our national championship game and his swan song.

You are BIG time under rating Josh Dobbs. I like Chris Leak btw, but Dobbs was a freak of nature in college.
Dobbs is still in the NFL btw while Leak only lasted one year.
So you are obviously wrong and stupid as well. Any QB that can make Butch Jones look good is a hell of a player.
He was easily the hardest SEC QB to bring down when he took off scrambling since Johnny Football and Cam. As good as Hooker was last year as well he couldn't touch Dobbs' natural scrambling ability. Guy was extremely shifty and fast for a QB.

McElroy ended his career with a 141 and 169 QB rating. He threw 39 TDs to 10 INTs (4:1)
Leak ended his career with 136 and 145. He threw 88 TDs to 42 INTs (2:1)
I liked Leak a lot when he was at UF, but he just never lived up to his 5* rating. He was short, had a labored release, threw a beautiful but slow pass, was a statue in the pocket. He had all the tools upstairs but his body didn't really elevate him.

This is why i hate Florida fans.
Chris Leak was a hell of a player who got shifted in between two offensive systems that were not for him. He chose the wrong school period.
Even in a system not fit for him at all he won a NC.
