Paul's interviews are great.
The callers are hick retards without even the ability to pretend to think critically.
I wish Paul would just do an hour show with an interview and some actual footbaw talk instead of the shitshow his callers are.

At first I thought he was just high all the time, but it's not even a chuckle I'd associate with being high. It's too high strung, or nervous.

Who's the guy from Chicago that always used to call in (and sounded like he was high)? I was driving down the road listening to Sirius College Sports the other day, and sure enough- he called in. Still sounded high, too.

man back in the day, there used to be this 90 year old woman call in named Mildred. Woman claimed she had an affair with Bear Bryant, gave coach Dye some old fashions and dutch rudders and one time called in to say she was headed down to Auburn to grab Tubberville by the ears and slam his face down in her lap. She also said she was the woman in the hotel room with Mike Price. That ladys calls were pure gold.

I completely agree about Vickers. He played the straight guy to Finebaum's smart### wisecracks that made the show so much better back in the day. Finebaum knew just how to set him off and make him crack up laughing. The show was WAAAY better when he was Finebaum's "sidekick".
As for Chris from Gulf Shores, I wouldn't put him in the same category as Phyllis, Tammy, Daryl from Columbus, and the other crazies. He seems to be more of a beach bum skirt chaser who always talks with Finebaum like he thinks they are in on an inside joke together that the audience isn't aware of. He was the one with the story about having sex on the couch while watching Finebaum and getting in trouble for it.
I'm shocked that Phyllis called in. It's literally been years since I've heard her call in.
P.S. When in the world is Finebaum going to be on Sirius/XM?

I enjoy Finebaum's guests and his interviews, but his regular callers are so bad that I often turn the radio off till they're finished

Phyllis from Mulga goes waaaaay back. She went into a rage when Gene Stallings was coach at Bama during his first year there. People were raising hell about Stallings and she called in and went into a rage defending him and delivered one of the classic statements of the finescum show:
During her rage she screamed out: "Leave him the hell alone..People!!!!!"
