This was just posted on Kentuckys on3 board by Matt Jones, the main guy there. Take it fwiw

There's a lot of chatter out there that maybe Calipari is trying to find a way to stay. It sounds insane I know, but that is making its way around the UK world. I have nothing from the school but this is picking up steam and is some messaging coming from Calipari related sources. IT would explain why we have heard nothing and the public appearance today with no comment. Stay tuned...

Gonna force Kentucky to pay him to go away and add to his NIL stacks.

This wouldn’t go over well with Kentucky fans.

I will show up at that motherfricker’s house driving the U-HAUL myself with Mike, guy45, Lynx, tWildcat, LouKat, and anyone else I missed from here ready to pack his shite.

So.

He apparently interviewed and discussed contract terms with Arkansas without notifying Barnhart until well after the fact. His contract requires him to notify Barnhart before negotiations.

He’s not collecting shite.

You all already know where he lives, so this wouldn't shock me in the least.

Gotta admit, watching the Kentucky fans squirm over this whole ordeal is entertaining AF. Sorry, but you guys were a bunch of assholes when you came to Gainesville this year. Every. Single. UK. Fan. that I ran into was a complete fricking a-hole.

I know you're not like that, but I can still laugh at the fanbase as a whole.

This is pure speculation...
There has been no official word of negotiations, much less any offer or acceptance of offer

He is 65 and tired. He doesn’t actually want to coach until he is 70 at Arkansas. But UK won’t fire him so he pulls this stunt to force them to pay him his 35 million retirement bonus.

This shouldn’t be terribly hard to prove. Especially when he’s been contacted by more than Arkansas.

I was fine if he left and I'd be fine if he stays.

Correct He is in clear violation of his contract. We're not paying him $hit. Hit the road ho
