No, he played through his senior season and went undrafted. I think he signed a free agent deal with the Bears shortly after. Not sure if he ever played a down in the NFL He wasn't necessarily a disappointment, he was simply splitting catches with 2 other HS All Americans.

They're quit to say how many players move back to Knoxville to live. The question is how many Fortune 500 Companies in Knoxville hire Afro Americans? Before someone call me racist, I'm not by far I just hate seeing a kid used. It's much like these kids being sex slaves. They're being taken advantage of. It's time for these parents to take a stand. Yes I have a favorite school, but do you see me pushing kids there NO! I will take a kid anywhere if he or his parents ask. Are there athletes out here now that wouldn't have a name without me yes absolutely but I haven't tried to exploit them. I use my own dollars to get them there. Not one penny from any University, coach, or a Booster. I don't play those games!

I'm glad we mostly stay out of Memphis for football, it just ain't worth it.

For someone who doesn't follow recruiting that closely, just exactly what in the frick is a "handler" and how in the frick does he make money off of kids playing a game?

Typically, it's a old thug or former athlete who takes advantage of less privileged black athletes. He gets in tight with these athletes when the recruitment picks up (always a high profile player, never a scrub) promises to get them paid, a car or whatever. If/when he does get paid, the handler steers the kid to said school but typically the kid and family never see a dime of the money.

Handlers also usually run shady football camps and have "non profit organizations", to put on a front that they are trying to help the poor blacks. Memphis is well known for scum like De'Vinner, it's like trying to recruit in a cesspool of corruption.

I hope this is true and he is trying to be honorable but as you saw above he has that cray cray in him ... so who knows
