I don't disagree with that. However, I think you'd agree with me when I say that UT's line play improved from '14 to '15. Despite the improved line play, Hurd's YPC dropped.

Great point. I am sure many Vol fans can agree that Hurd was hit 3 yards behind the line receiving a read option handoff more than anyone in the country last season. It will be interesting to see his YPC this upcoming season with both a competent OL and receiving handoffs out of the I-formation or at least with Dobbs under center. Hurd gashed Iowa when they ran out of the I-formation. First time they ran out of that set all season.

True. But I think he'll improve this year.
