It'd be great if Nutt applied for the job just to be a dick.

The old guard led by the Tyson family had been pushing for Davis prior to Nutt's departure

Start big and work your way down, I would rather have an interim coach than a no name.

Gus is the only man who can rescue this situation in the fans eyes. I'm not sure how well he would mesh with the current team though considering the huge differences in offensive styles.

Malzahn runs a gimmick offense and two of the 3 years at auburn he was figured out..You can run his O only successfully with a Cam or a Tebow..Do they have those kind of studs growing on trees in NWA

Bunker, its a no brainier. He would be perfect for the job. He has a strong hold on the state of Arkansas. He was a head coach there for a local high school and has a great relationship will lots of head coaches in Arkansas. He can recruit just as good as anyone and hes already got a national championship as a coach. Something bobby Petrino doesn't.

Tressel probably does too. Sweater vests won't go over well in Arkansas though.

Why not Gus? I know his wife is annoying and hot at the same time but dude has won on every level. His schemes are legit and he seems to have a ton of charisma to lead kids. Hell Dyers a 1st round RB and he followed the Gus Bus to ARKY State of all places. The boy went from Ruths Chris Steakhouse to a Waffle House behind Gus.

Gus won't ever be the head coach at Arkansas. Most unbiased people, like me, believe Cam Newton was recruited illegally at Auburn and Gus had to know.

If he didn't than it's because he just didn't want to know and that's just as bad. Additionally, Gus was involved in the now defunct Pinnacle Preps and that was a very, very shady situation. Things and people aren't always as they seem.

Lol don't fool yourself, a lot of coaches? Your not on that level.. As much as you wanna be, it's still just Arkansas.
