Kelly should scare people. He has two 10 win seasons back to back after starting with a very depleted roster.

If you want to count the postseason, which you obviously do, a 10 win season is not some huge achievement. Seven SEC teams finished with 10 or more wins last season. Six of them did it in the regular season. LSU won their bowl game to notch win number 10. With the current 16 team format, LSU would have finished 6th or 7th overall last year. That doesn’t seem very scary.

Lots of better coaches. Norville, Stoops- he just needs to be at a true football school-, Kiffin, Swinney, etc. LOTS of better coaches. And they don’t grind on teenagers.

So just pick one and tell me WHY he's better.

It should be fairly easy for you, if the guy is really that much better.

2023 Win Totals

UGA: 13
Bama: 12
Texas: 12
Ole Miss: 11
Mizzou: 11
LSU: 10
OK: 10

That is seven SEC teams that finished with 10 or more wins last season.

Texas and Oklahoma weren't SEC teams.

I'm not saying he's going to Michigan
and I am saying BK is adequate for LSU.

Realistically speaking...

Saban is retired.
I don't think anyone is scared of ANY coach, anymore.

Maybe Kirby. He is on par with Saban, he just hasnt done it for 15+ yrs yet.

Tier 1- kirby

Tier2 - about 10-15 coaches, including Kelly.

Kelly started with 39 scholarship players. His first 2 seasons are remarkable in that situation. Wait for what is coming down the pike

I stopped at one at 11 PM once, and the chicken fries they gave me were fricking awful. I haven’t really been to them since.

Yeah, because it would be funny.

What’s funny is Bama losing Saban, players, a top rated QB, getting told no by 4 candidates before settling on a guy who has never coached in the South, losing their new OC and other position staff within weeks of hiring him, and the new guy knowingly deceived players to keep them on the plantation. Now, that’s funny!

Good God I’m sitting back laughing at how some people actually think he would even entertain a phone call from Michigan. LMFAO

He'd have been a moron to consider it much.. Michigan has been relevant for 3 years out of about 30. LSU is relevant almost every year. There are reasons for this that are not controlled by a HC.
