Sadness has overtaken your life.

am at a complete loss to understand the relevance of football scores in response to a series of comments regarding post-graduation earnings of university graduates. I seriously doubt that any of those three scores will improve the disparity regarding post-graduation earnings of Aggies and other SEC schools (unless you were the quarterback of one of those squads).
No one gives a frick.....59-0

I am at a complete loss to understand the relevance of post-graduation earnings of university graduates in a thread about football scores, personally.
ETA: I figured it out; you were deflecting the conversation away from the topic of your team getting drilled repeatedly and your posters becoming extinct.

Deflecting? Not really.
Recap/Summary:
MSU poster asked the location of one allegedly-missing Aggie poster (TeLeFaWx), who had in fact posted earlier that same day. I told him how to find said Aggie poster. He responded by calling me a "count." Classy.
I explained that he could probably have found said poster, if he were either smarter or better-educated, given that this forum has a very simple "search" function.
Another poster (who claims to be an Aggie, but probably is not) threw out the "our grads earn more" card. Probably not necessary, but there you have it.
Auburn poster implied that this post (not my post) constituted some sort of confirmation that Ags have "given up" on our team. I responded that we routinely post the same academic/earning information when these issues are raised, regardless of football performance. The two are not remotely interrelated.
MSU poster responded with football scores.
Clearly, MSU has the better football team this year. I admitted as much several places on this very thread. No shame in that. This year it is them. The two previous years, it was us. That is how the pigskin bounces.
Just as clearly, A&M is the superior institution from either the academic or earnings perspective. Unlike on-field performance, there seems to be some level of consistency on this point. I addressed that issue in direct response to another poster.
Who is "deflecting?" Clearly, it wasn't me.

For the love of God, please stop referring to aggy as Texans, they are aggy, their own breed and the rest of Texas is embarrassed by their existence. The rest of Texas is NOTHING like these cultish clowns.
Ps.
Told you so...

I wish he would just shut up a deliver my damn pizza. At this point I am not paying for it and I am sure he can't afford half his salary to pay for it.

And there you should have left it. If you are as concerned as you claim about staying on topic, you should recognize when, exactly, the deviations occur and direct your scorn accordingly.

what happened to Gradual Stroke and Telefax? Are they still alive?

Not sure if I am looking forward to this or not, what are they paying for land? Are they going to share?

For your other point, I am not worried one bit about what the other thousands of graduates from my university are doing with their lives. I am simply worried about my degree and how I am currently doing with my life. If I am making more than the average graduate of aTm's salary, does that make my MSU diploma more valuable than aTm's?
Your football team has clearly left you upset and in shambles. I am sorry for the irrelevance of your school this year and hope you can pull yourself together in the future.

That's the point. They aren't around much these days to click their name. It doesn't look like they are missed that badly either.

quote:That which constitutes "embarrassment" is inherently subjective. Early in the year, I expected to lose to 'Bama and to beat both Landmass schools. On field performance showed that my early expectations were wrong, and I adjusted my expectations accordingly. I was "disappointed" in those two losses, but not "embarrassed." 'Bama? Yep, that was embarrassing.
Our team was embarrassed (beaten) by three better football teams. So? (quote modified by you to alter meaning)
quote:No, it means that you have outperformed the mean performance for your school and for mine. Congratulations. I am happy for you.

You can run a similar search by typing their names in the search field. Takes a bit longer because you must open the thread and then click the name, but still easy to find them.
