I'm not saying they underperformed, but last time I checked, a secondary consisted of 4 members not 1 or 2. Didn't Reid and Simon experience a dropoff in 2012? Your secondary wasn't even Top 3 in the league last season. Awards are opinion-based, and some are a joke. Some players don't get exposed until the bowl season which is why certain awards shouldn't be given until all the candidates have finished playing. Manti Teo came in 2nd place in the Heisman voting and may have won it if it weren't for JFF's game against Alabama. Manti Teo took home several rewards despite being nowhere near the best linebacker or defender in the nation.
