Lets be completely honest:
1) Chubbs is in the East where right now the defenses are not as stout as the West.
2) Fournette plays for LSU where rotation and fresh players is a key part of LSU's success.
3) As part of #2, because the rotation is good, LSU players are not overplayed. The more you play the more tired you and your muscles get, so the possibility for injury increases. Les loves all his players and he doesn't want to wear them out or see them injured so they can have a career in the NFL.

Its all about balance in a players life. I could care less about stats as long as we win and compete for a Championship.

Consensus according to who and for what?

Have you watched an LSU game lately? I wish we had someone even close to Mason last year.

The people that think Nick Chubb is better than Leonard Fournette as a talent/NFL prospect are just wrong. He is bigger, faster, more athletic, and just as strong.

I had this same conversation with Bama fans last year with Amari Cooper. Duke Williams was the best WR in college football last year. I dont care how many yards Cooper had.

Awesome, another LSU fan who only knows about LSU and LF and has no clue how our season played out.

He led the sec in all purpose yards as a true freshman. He was 23rd in the country in kick return avg.(2nd in the sec), tied for 1st in longest kick return. He had better freshman rushing stats than every Arkansas freshman except Darren Mcfadden. He had more freshman all purpose yards than any Arkansas freshman ever. He had one of the best true Freshman all purpose yards in SEC history.
No need for an excuse.

He is bigger and a faster top end. As of now though there is no stats that put LF ahead of Chubb. We as LSU fans can talk about potential until we are blue in the face but the fact is I'd rather have the production of Chubb over the perceived talent ceiling of LF. I don't think most lsu fans realize how fricking jacked Chubb is or that he ran a sub 11.00 second 100. If LF is fast or stronger it's not by enough that it would matter. Chubb set the sec single season ypc record with a passing game that was not great. It was a good bit better than LSU'S but it wasnt in the top 6 of the sec

Chubb-7.1 ypc ( sec record)
LF- 5.5

According to a bunch of people that evaluate how well athletes project at the next level for a living. Are you really that clueless or are you just pretending to be?

I know you are trying to be funny, but these are facts. Especially LF being bigger, like that is a measurable fact that he is taller and weighs more.

I was asking for a link to a legit NFL draft pro like Mel kiper or a NFL front office guy. Still waiting.

This whole thread has been about LSU fans giving logical points about why our player will be better next year and why he will be a better NFL player and all you guys have said is:
1)nope
2)stats
3)chubb is bigger, faster, and stronger

the only thing you are right about is #2. But guys... We still have 2 seasons left to play.

Cam Cameron is not an idiot for an OC

We had a horrible freshman QB last year with young guys all around them. You cant do much with that..

We had one of the best offensive schemes in the country 2 years ago with those STATS yall love so much.
3,000 yard passer, 1,000 yard rusher, and 2-1,000 yard receivers.

Be prepared to wait another year because that doesn't exist yet. I gave you what I could. But barring injury, LF will still be higher on those lists than NC. You can disagree all you want, but I am telling you what will happen.

Bobo proved much can be done with a young rb and a weak qb. Your oc didn't know how to pull it off play call wise.

Or are your reasons not as logical as you think? I would say so if Yall claim Uga had a deep threat passing game to force defenders back, or that your oc play calls were not a problem.

We have sparq numbers and weight lifting numbers to compare speed, athleticism and strength. The only area chubb is behind Leo is track speed. We don't have a 40 yd dash to compare because Leo didn't run it.
