I realize it is what it is, but getting 100-200 people to drop $200 for a pair in the time it took to sell out seems a lot more reasonable to me than 1,000. The word had to spread, get posted in multiple places, have people see the thread, make the move to purchase, and pull the trigger on the sale.

The rant is as busy a board as any and only has 2000 people on most of the time.

That being said, still a mistake not having the geographic restriction for Alabama in place.

Completely understand, but even throwing in a couple people that want to do that, I don't know how many non-broker message board people would dump $1,000 to pick up tickets in hopes of making a couple grand.

If the brokers caught wind, I could see it being more.

ETA: In all honesty, Mizzou being in the game probably brought the highest possible prices down a few notches on its own.
