Gotta be the first time a Heisman was awarded for charity based on lack of candidates.

Should light it up against UGA !!

I'd gladly take it however I could get it if I were a player.

Please. In any other season other than 2019, yall would give your left nut for 40 tds, 4 ints, 3900 yards, and a 69% completion percentage through 12 games

He set a single game passing record at the most prestigious program in the country. Just engineered an improbable come from behind win against Bama's biggest rival on the road.

It's not like he doesn't deserve it. Not his fault the competition isn't that great for it this year.

Poor Bryce, only going to win it because nobody else was better.

What difference does it make when this keeps happening.

Ron Dayne

Terry Baker

Howard Cassady

Archie Griffin

Pat Sullivan

Troy Smith

Ty Detmer

Gino Torretta

Chris Weinke

Rashaan Salaam

Danny Wuerffel

Andre Ware

Jason White

Eric Crouch

Besides, there is never a lack of good players, only a lack of good judgment. Remember that grasshopper.

Never been a better year to give it to a defensive player. Will Anderson is the best player in CFB at his respective position.

Just think how good Bryce would be if he had an OLine that could protect him for longer than two seconds?

I'm a Bryce Young fan, he's really good and is impressive off the field as well.

That being said, I would vote for Pickett. He's single-handedly brought Pittsburgh to a 10-win season. Pittsburgh.

Pitt has a chance to win 11 games for the first time since 1981.

Alabama: Player wins Heisman because everyone else sucks.

Everyone else: Player wins Heisman because he's the best.

It's a glass half-full/half-empty thing.

If Bryce Young wins the Heisman they need to just go ahead and put college football out of its misery.

If there were ever a year for a defensive player to win it, this is the year. It won't happen, of course, but it should.

This is one of those years they really need to consider a defensive player.

And people probably will.

They'll give an individual award to a player based on his team.

Is it a forgone conclusion that he'll win it? Last week it seemed as tho OSU QB jumped Young, but then OSU got blasted Saturday, so I assume Young is back at top but I haven't seen anything that says he's a lock.

Have you seen Pickett's stats? And yes, team performance has always played a big part in who wins the Heisman.

I seriously doubt that anybody around the Alabama AD is giving a lot of thought to the Heisman right now.
