It’s fine, he had some flashes if I remember correctly. Not a big deal either way we have much bigger issues. Good luck to him.

Smart choice. A 1 yr rental to go play at a school that should win 8 or 9 games next yr is smart business decision

How did Gus ended up going to school at A&M? Must not be smart as a football head coach!

It's funny because, who would ever want to attend Arkansas?

I will not reference current recruiting rankings in this post because it causes a salty reaction

Go ahead. We all know you love to fall back on those. Should I reference the score of our past few games along with our recruiting rankings?

Your post was in reference to players not wanting to play at Arkansas. I have said multiple times the coaching/players still have to produce but on paper the talent is coming.

Nance doesn’t need to be prolific. If he contributes, it will be gravy.

Nance is just quality depth for us. Nobody is acting like he’s Julio. He’s a pretty good deep ball threat that we can add to Knox and Scott on the outside.

If Dooley can do some work with Bryant like he did with Lock then we are absolutely loaded on offense once again.

Bryant going to Missouri is good news for most of the conference. He would make a bigger difference at Auburn. Missouri will be an 8 win team next year at best.

He is not a very good coach by the way he was coaching so far! No matter of the talents because he should not have lost to some teams very early in the season. That is how bad he was coaching. He may get some talents but what does it do if he cannot get those players and others to play at a much higher level than he just showed as of this year? That is a tall order to get everyone to play at the same level as most of the SEC teams are playing right now. That is where he just not able to just make those new recruits to be as good as others in the SEC.

First year after the mess Bert made.

Jeesh.

Way to early to try and label the guy a bad coach.

After he got beat out and wasn’t getting any playing time. It’s not like that happened before the season

You see how is Arkansas going to compete in the SEC if the players that are freshmen and have zero experience and the rest of the SEC are far ahead of Arkansas players in talents and experiences. That is why he is in big trouble right now. He is not going to leapfrog most of the SEC teams.

Gus is problem goes much deeper, I fear.

He lost his aggressive nature on offense. It is not the players at this point, it is something more.

And I like Gus, and I hoped he could work through it. But it looks more and more like that will not happen.

One of those wins coming against Florida, no doubt.
