Because the NCAA mess? It isn't like Haith hasn't had his own issues but I can see an AD not wanting to take a look at him right after Haith.

When Alden hired Haith, he asked the NCAA if there were any outstanding issues with him and the NCAA basically lied to him. If Alden had known of the pending or ongoing investigation, he doesn't hire Haith.

I feel for you but at least you had your moment in the sun. Outside of 2 years during Ellis and a few in the 80's we have had the suck for my entire life. I would sell my 21 year old step son to an Asian prostitution ring for what UT has right now.

I'd give anything for him to come here, but due to the fact he's not straight as an arrow our administration won't even give him a second thought.

He'd have us in the elite 8 in 3 years.

I'd sell myself to the Asian prostitution ring for pearl as long as they let me watch Alabama football and basketball when I wasn't servicing someone.

I agree with this. I strongly dislike UGA but your PTB do seem fixated on doing things the right way instead of doing what it take to win. I think it's admirable but I'm glad we don't have that same issue.

Imo this team is better than 2 of Pearl's teams and possibly 3, but the excitement is so much different.

Pearl was the best marketer I have ever seen. Everything about the program was extremely fun, especially his first 2 or 3 years. It's what college sports should be.

Don't want that fat slobbering clown, or his next NCAA investigation, anywhere near Georgia.

Georgia would self report every slimy trick Pearl would pull, probably landing all of our teams on the death penalty list down to womens cross-country.

It's how we roll.

Yep, I remember reading he was the strongest (lifted the most weights)person in the locker room, with the exception of his son.

Okay, fine. The man is not a fat slobbering clown.

Except from the neck up.

CBP made one mistake. He didnt kill the Pope. He will have paid his debt to the NCAA.
And he will make someone a winning BB coach.

You mean one mistake that got caught. I highly doubt he just made one mistake.

And there are mistakes, and then there are three year suspensions because of lies and all sorts of shenanigans.

This guy always left a bit of a slime trail wherever he went. And at Georgia, it wouldn't just be Pearl taking the fall, it would be our basketball program. And, even such as it is, it would be nice to keep it.

Pearl is a heckuva basketball coach. And huckster. Don't want him.

The last thing our basketball program should be scared of at this point is NCAA probation. We wouldn't be any worse than we are currently. Might as well squeeze a few good years in before the hammer drops.

The admin won't do it, but they should. Our basketball program is pathetic right now and needs a jolt.
