If families are not allowed to attend.

For once, I'm behind him. CFP needs to flex its muscle and yank the game away from Los Angeles County. She could shut down the whole game at a moment's notice if she wants to. "Trust the science?" bullshite. There's no scientific reason why 500 people can't safely sit spread apart in a 100,000 seat stadium.

There is no way that stadiums like the Rose Bowl and Superdome cannot adequately support spreading out family members of players and coaches. Just limit the number of family members and then spread them out.

If I'm Bill Hancock, I'm yanking that game out of California yesterday.

The playoffs don't need Notre Dame.

bullshite.

If there's anything the playoffs don't need, it's the Rose Bowl, or pretty much the whole state of California, for that matter.

It was a stupid decision to have the championship game there two years ago.

And the next thing I'm doing is telling the Pac-12 to go frick themselves...it's the Power 4 conferences now.

The Pac 12 is no better than the American, anyway. Don't care about the TV markets.

And the hell with this woman for making me feel good about Notre Dame.

Seriously...if anyone has the weight to push around and make this happen, it's Notre Dame. I'd like to see Alabama jump on board also. If the four teams in the playoffs refuse to go to the Rose Bowl, it will force the CFP's hand.

Kelly is very correct... and if the Big commish is so concerned about the continuance of the Rose Bowl hosting the game, send the Big runner up to play the pac12 champ cause neither of those will be involved in the CFP??

Tell that to all these posters who think we need to have an 8 team playoff with the Pac-12 champion getting an automatic berth.

Just call it a peaceful protest or riot. Problem solved.

Lol, some people here don’t get outside their trailer park much.

The Rose Bowl is bigger than ND from a TV/viewership perspective. If they say no fans but are still willing to host the game, then that’s what’ll happen.

Doesn’t really matter if you like their policy or not. Money is power, and, in this game, eyes on TVs is money.

ND gets stomped in every big game. They are easily replaceable.

You've demonstrated for quite some time that you're not that savvy about college football. The rest if us understand that there's a Rose Bowl every year and still would be if the CFP pulls out. The Rose Bowl can still happen with USC and Northwestern, and they can pipe fake crowd noise into an empty stadium all day long.

Jeez, are all State fans this clueless about how the playoffs work?

Alabama wouldn't be sent to California.
