Exactly.

Brian Kelly at Georgia would have multiple Natty's.

There will be quite a few 2 loss champs with the 12 team playoff format.

I'd be happy with that.

A top 40 defense and LSU wins it all.

Pure copium.

A serviceable center and Bama wins it all.

See how easy that is?

Even with a center who couldn't figure out a snap, we still beat BK going away.

Les Miles and Ed Orgeron won titles at LSU. So I'll reserve judgment.

LSU is due for another 2 loss national championship football team.

So all Brian Kelly needs to do is fix the entire defense.

I disagree with you. What LSU needs is a HC that can get it done. Kelly isn't one to get it done. There are too many good teams that Kelly keeps losing and can't get it over the hump. If he does get over the hump with one team, he would find a way to lose to some other team that he shouldn't have the team losing to a lesser one or to a team that is equal to his team. I am going to say this coming season that the LSU football team will have a 90 percent chance to lose at least 3 games this year.

LSU will not be one of them.

So Mark Richt at Georgia and Miami vs. Brian Kelly at Cincinnati, Notre Dame, and 2 years of LSU?

Definitely apples to apples.

75% of these morons think Notre Dame is still an elite program.

They are in terms of TV revenue. Just ask NBC.

The twelve team playoff bracket was designed with Notre Dame in mind.

I'm of the opinion that Brian Kelly is capable of winning a natty, but I would not expect it to be pretty like Ed O's magical season.

We could say this about any coach who hasn't won a title yet.

But having 12 years at ND and 2 at LSU and averaging exactly 3.5 losses per year at both places isn't nothing.

Notre Dame has been coasting off of their brand for awhile now.

They are also frequently overrated, leading to their postseason beatdowns.

People say BK couldn't win a big game there but they leave out the fact that Notre Dame wasn't winning big games 15 years prior to BK and they aren't winning them 2 years after he left either.

Even a bad coach can run into a NY6 bowl win if it's truly an elite program with elite talent.

Think LSU may average double digit wins but they’ll never get over the hump with BK.

So, is this supposed to hurt LSU fans' feelings?

Remember, when we hired Kelly we weren't coming off Orgeron's 2019 national champ, we were coming off his 2020 and 2021 seasons. Sub .500 record, program in shambles, Alabama squeezing us to the East and Jimbo trying to build something to the West.

Say what you want about Kelly, he seems to have stabilized things, and has some good classes coming in. I said it after the Miles era, I'd prefer we don't go the Tennessee/Nebraska/Miami route. Richt kept UGA solid for a long time, before they found Kirby.
