Bielema has lost 14 assistants since 2011, according to CoachingSearch.com’s Chris Vannini. Eight of those changes have come since Bielema took over at Arkansas.

Former wide receivers coach George McDonald (2012), defensive line coach Charlie Partridge (2013) and running backs coach Joel Thomas (2014) all left for noticeable promotions. However, there are a few coaches who left for jobs that were arguably considered lateral moves.

I thought Arkansas was a destination school?

A&M School of Destination was taken by a loser, so they went elsewhere

unlike Sumlin with Spav, Bert isn't buddy buddy with his assts so when one needs to go he cuts bait (I.e. Chaney)

Pinkel never fired an assistant during his whole run at Missouri.

They probably saw the writing on the wall when he acted when he jumped in Robinson's face and then flopped like a fatass bitch.

I wonder how many original coaches are still on the staff and how many left for lateral jobs. Have any been fired?

Charlie partridge went to be a head coach.

OP premise is flawed.

And sorry you are stuck with Sumlin.

You will never hear anyone outside of Arkansas call Arkansas a destination job.

Bert demands excellence. It's not his fault that some paintywaist coaches can't deal with that.
