Also a misleading thread title because that isn't what it says.

You seem really concerned about it this time (as you should). This is pretty clearly not the same as the pie in the sky stuff that has been floated in the past.

Here in Austin they are telling me their sources confirmed that it was Sexton who made the initial contact.

AHAHAHAHAHAH YOU WITH SOURCES NOW? AHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

You'll want him gone once the decline starts

Better to let him leave on top

Non-Bama fans "he sooo gone"

Bama fans "he stays forever"

No one "you've made a compelling point regarding Saban. I've changed my opinion about this situation"

Remember when he said he wasn't leaving the Dolphins or something like that..

Of course this is going to come out and control the damage.

Even you of all people don't believe that.

I'll just leave this here since he's such a "man of his word"

quote:

As the 2006 NFL season moved toward a conclusion and the Alabama coaching job remained vacant, rumors mounted that Dolphins coach Nick Saban could be the next Alabama coach.

So what was Saban’s position on the matter? “I’m not going to be the Alabama coach.”

And then, after the season, he abruptly became the Alabama coach.

Nick Saban apologizes for "professional mishandling" when leaving Dolphins LOL

I meant that no one has told you anything. No "they" with any stroke at Texas have let you in on any little secrets.

You all said this in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 and you were wrong.

and now 2013 again.

But man, Gumps sure are gullible.

Maybe one day you'll be right and you'll be all "I Told You So!"

So I guess you assume he learned nothing from "professional mishandling" and he is going to make an identical mistake here. Saban has shown that he never learns from mistakes, amirite?

Do I think Saban leaves Bama......No

Do I think he wants something from all of this.......hell yes

Either Bama gives it to him or UT will. That's what Saban is and does.

Good for him.

But what happens if Alabama makes the BCSNC game next year at the house Jerry built? He is not going to go and coach?
