What percentage of these kids graduate? It isn't that high is it? College football with its predominantly 18-22 black labor force that makes billions of dollars off that labor force.

i cam see why the south fights so hard for it. It brings back the undertones of slavery. The good ole days

Give me a break about the free education. The school doesn't invest themselves in graduating these kids let alone providing these 80-odd kids this education doesn't cost shite compared to the 100s of millions they get off it

Let alone its a sport which literally ruins your brain, shortens your life and destroys your body. The only players you can say get an advantage are the NFL players and if they left school early to make money all the fans bitch about that too

But I'm sure the aggrieved lard arse college football fan will find some retarded idiot to vote into public office over it. These people have a special skill that less than one percent of the people in this country have that earns a lot of money for a lot of people

Don't even think about comparing to your software salesman selling arse like it's even in the same ballpark

Ya, all the things they do to keep these kids eligible doesn't help them work towards a degree.

They are doing it selfishly but still helping them in the process.

sounds like you are a racists

well thats highly incorrect

well it costs hundreds of millions...

The only players you can say get an advantage are the NFL players

good stuff.. so besides the thousands of players you say the scholarship benefits, no one else does? Your facts are pretty bold

But I'm sure the aggrieved lard arse college football fan will find some retarded idiot to vote into public office over it

Is this a reflection of yourself? you are a sports fan, correct?

No they don't. The majority of college football programs LOSE money.

Kind of a self inflicted wound, since even with the influx of TV money (read ESPN and that is another bucket of worms), they turn around and spend even more on the latest trendy brick sh$thouse with gold toilet seats (gotta keep up with the Gumps), or a head coach. (you realize coaching salaries are about an order of magnitude higher for head guys than about 25 years ago?)

The info is out there. Do a google for it, you don't even have to get fancy with key words.

But only about 20 schools across the whole country actually make even a small profit from football. I've actually seen articles that claim it is as small as 10 schools.

Which brings to mind why schools are even involved in it? Other than because they've always had a football team, and everyone else has one doncha know?
