Really? Well, we held you over 100 yards under your average and below your points average as well. Also missing our best run defender on the DL. No matter anyway, the team was emotionally spent and mailed in before that game even started.

I don't think it's a bad hire, but I am a little shocked that Mizzou would pick someone with as little experience as Odom.
Having said that, I think it's smart to build around a good defensive coach and Odom probably has good ties to surrounding areas. It's risky, but could be a great hire.
