Funny how Arkansas takes a thread about a head coach leaving from Missouri, and turns it into a pissing contest about their programs rank in the conference.

Great, you think you're the 3rd best program in the SEC.

Just print the shirts and shut the frick up already.

I'm willing to concede that Tennessee is 3b like you yourself posted. Recently Tennessee is better and historically Arkansas is better.

No reason to meltdown. It's just an opinion on a message board.

Arkansas has no natural recruiting base, hasn't had success of any kind since the 90s, and the job has been a revolving door since Richardson left.

Arkansas is in a fine recruiting spot for basketball. The state itself will produce top shelf talent.

Arkansas basketball has been around for 90 years. Arguably one of the youngest major programs around. It currently sits in the top 15 all time in win pct. Of those 90 years, it's been to a Final Four in 3 different decades, NCAA tourneys in 6 different decades, conference championships in 7 different decades, Elite Eights in 4 different decades. The program has won 20 games in a season upwards of 30 times.

Arkansas has had 4 head coaches since 1974. As a comparison, Florida has had 6 in that time, Kentucky has had 6.

I am just going by what Gary Parrish said who imo has a much better handle on the national perception of the jobs than any fan of an involved school.

I'm not melting down.

I just think it's funny that you are hellbent on flying that we're number three flag.

It's a nice addition to the mast of the flagship.

So we're agreed. Both schools are tied for the third best job. It was a pleasure negotiating with you.

Done deal. Frank Haith, as expected, will be the next coach at Tulsa, a source told @CBSSports. Updated story coming.

What gets lost in all of this is Mizzou will not have to buyout his contract, or pay him any more money. Haith might actually be responsible for Tulsa owing the University of Missouri money for breaking terms of his contract, and we get rid of Haith all in one fail swoop
