Appears they beat up a guy, off duty cop tried to step in and was knocked out.

I work for a newspaper and our correspondent just called to say he's on scene and early reports are that Jackson has punched a cop in a barroom brawl.

Several cop cars were at the scene, and some arrests were made. Don't know who was arrested and if they were Vols or not.

I was just on the scene at Bar Knoxville. The owner guessed 7-10 males, at least some who were "UT football players," were in the fight.

Alright, Only dealing with confirmed stuff here. There's a lot of speculation but some things are pinned down.
Janzen Jackson may only be one of 7-10 other players involved.
This may not be what it appeared at first ( a barroom fight) It appears right now the 7-10 players beat up 1 guy, an off duty cop tried to step in and was knocked out.
Cops aren't releasing names so its hard to say it was definitely football players. Bar owners says absolutely it was football players "7-10".
Official story coming in under 20 minutes.

no you got it wrong. Jackson didn't punch a cop, he was just standing next to a Prius clueless while his friends punched the cop.

Well only 6 of those players are starters. 16 starters left, including all 5 O-Linemen who've never played in a game, and our RB and QB who've never played in a game
