HAHAHAHA, what? 4 yards passing and a touchdown is playing well? What Jeremy Johnson did against Arkansas must have been spectacular, huh? All Jacob Coker did was come in, hand the ball off, and throw a fade to Amari Cooper...and we all know that was all on Amari Cooper. No one could stop him all year.

3 starts - 2 of which were Western Carolina and Florida Atlantic. Would you like for me to show you Coker's stats against Florida Atlantic and Southern Miss this season? They were pretty good. And pointless.

Johnson played well against Arkansas.

Just find it humorous that based on a solid half against Arkansas and stats against a bunch of Sun Belt teams that JJ is the next Cam Newton while Coker, who has pretty similar stats against said teams, is a disaster.

Guess we will all find out.

lol at bammers comparing Coker's performance against Florida to JJ's performance against Arkansas. Coker was a whopping 1-2 for 4 yards against Florida. Jeremy Johnson was 12-16 for 243 yards against Arkansas. Only bammer tards could see those performances as equal

Not at all. Jordan Jefferson beat Bama once and he certainly isn't Peyton Manning. That said, Cardale Jones beat Wisconsin (a team LSU scraped by) like an absolute drum. He also put up very good numbers against Bama. I'm not saying Jones is incredible, or even that he'll beat out JT Barrett for the starting job next season. I'm just saying he's better than Golston.

He's better than Golston based on a few games?

Also Jordan Jefferson never beat Bama. Get real son. Our defense beat Bama.

Are you high? By "tired of losing" do you mean "tired of winning the SEC championship a month ago, being in the title hunt virtually every year since 2008 (except 2010), and losing the fewest games in the SEC since 2008?

Tired of losing to your arch rival in the last second of the game, and choking on the big stage against overhyped schools in consecutive seasons. That takes a toll on your program, sorry. It might take you guys a decade or more to recover here.

This is truly hilarious. Remind me who brought Johnson into the conversation. I'll hang up and listen.

JJ played very well against a decent Arkansas pass defense (and yes they shut down Alabama in F'ville).

His other performances throwing more than 5 passes

WCU : 17/21, 201 yds
FAU : 10/16, 192 yds

So, forgive me if I don't give him the Heisman based on a half against Arkansas. Probably going to be a good player, though.

No one is handing out Heisman's in this thread other than Bama fans. Look at the posts simple george

Coker at Alabama
38/59, 64.4%, 403 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT, 144.2 rating

And most of that was in garbage time against bad teams or in blowouts. Means nothing.

JJ's first half against Arkansas is legitimate and means something. That's about it from either of them (but is something, for sure).

LoFinL. He was playing with FSU's abysmal second unit in 50-0 games. Have you watched those sacks on video? GTFO here.

I don't know about the Heisman, but Malzahn has repeatedly said JJ is an NFL quarterback. I would probably trust his opinion over yours

And Jimbo Fisher said Coker was an NFL QB (he's coached 3 straight of them).

Coaches, shockingly, say nice things about their players.

We will see in 8 months.

Yea, no doubt, I jokingly brought up Johnson. I haven't even discussed Miller yet.
