Yep....I didn't watch all of both games but I definitely saw a few other passes that probably should have been picked off. If I were an Auburn fan I'd be real nervous about Mr. Johnson's decision making ability against SEC defenses.
I think they will adjust. Johnson has yet to go through progressions. Someone else said it, but it was spot on, he decides who to pass to before he ever gets a look at the defense.
Auburn needs to establish the run. That has been our identity and is really what we should focus on. Hopefully Avery is back and the Oline is in better shape.
I would not be shocked to see Jason Smith as qb for a few packages in this game tbh.

What about 3.8?
seems good enough to me. 3.8 against a stacked box is a winning stat

Go back and watch the game he was poised and heady the whole game the passes he missed on were in places only his recievers could catch the football. He showed great awareness in the pocket, good scramble ability and should have had 75 yards rushing if a run had not been called back. He also would have thrown for 140'ish if the two longer completions he had would have stood. So thats puts him with over 200 yards of total offense with 0 turnovers. He played great and had a couple of unfortunate plays get called back/ overturned incorrectly that greatly effected his stats. I know what I saw when watching him and Auburn is in trouble
Couldn't have said it better myself....

Les must be making Cam run that military school offense.
If Muschamp doesn't put 8 in the box then I don't know what to say for him.

Name me a coach who wouldn't do this if he could.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a Les fan....but I can name plenty. Hell, there's a coach over in the SEC East that used to throw the ball even when he was up 5 TD's in the 4th quarter.

'd rather sit on a lead and give the other team the chance to win than go for the kill shot.
Or the other team just plays good defense. I swear our fans never give credit to the other team. If our defense makes plays, they are great. If the other teams d makes a play, Les Miles sucks.

It's frustrating as a fan. If Les and Cam don't at least attempt to achieve less imbalance than against MSU (and all of 2014), we'll lose 2-3 games we should win, and we'll fail to put away infefior opponents.

Auburn's done, it's over.
Brilliant analysis. You know what else? Pancakes suck. The higher the stack, the stronger the suck. frick pancakes.

I can smell the holding calls from here.

Too bad we didn't get a chance to come from behind to beat McNeese State in overtime. Maybe we would have seen what BH can do.

Yes we know. It will be a thrilling game and the refs will bail you out once again. It's like the same game is played over and over but with different players, frick

I remember an LSU coach who tried to go for the kill shot instead of sitting on the lead.
His name was Hallman. 94 Auburn.
Go look up the results of his decision.

Can LSU have a successful season with 4 quarters of QB play like that?
Hell no, luckily LSU started with MSU then AU to get him time to get ready for when they really need him.
