Our fans actually go to the games.

That's why these three schools dominate in attendance. (Average home game attendance)

Mississippi State - 55,082
Ole Miss - 57,066
Arkansas - 68,046

Your post REEKED of jealousy. Maybe you're not. I don't know. But, the "it's all because of JFF" theme UNIVERSALLY originates from the butt area.

And LSU did win big, and convincingly, by 3 touchdowns, as I predicted.

Would Mizzou have made the top 10 if they were in the Big 12 still?

Y'all should thank us!

Seriously, it was just an observation.

Plus, it was pretty damn accurate.

Why is everyone so on edge? And why do people use the word "butthurt" so much? Is everyone 12 in here?

For sake of comparison though, contrast that with the Big 12's version of a blue clad, hoops obsessed, football cellar dwellar:

kansas clocks in at #79, just behind San Jose State and Buffalo.

Even the bottom of the SEC pile dominates the bottom of other league's piles. Kentucky also finished ahead of the bottom teams from the B1G, ACC, and PAC.

No, it was a prediction, unless you are telling me you can see into the future.

No. We could have had the exact same type of season in the Big 12 and the best we could have hoped would be to be ranked around where Oklahoma State is on that list. So thank you, times a million.

That said, I don't think many on here expected Mizzou to be anything other than around that 23 to 25 cluster of Ole Miss/MSU/Arky type grouping at best, and sure as hell nobody on here expected us to be standing alongside UGA/LSU/Auburn in the Top 10 in year two. So you're welcome.

Yet still churned out a worse season...again.

But hey, as long as you beat your rival, right?

LSU is not our rival. We have no rivals. No one rivals A&M.

I bet they will all be in here to argue that though.

Noooo. Why would anyone think to argue your lazy, conclusory statement?

That because they play a lot of their games on Longhorn Network and FS1. No one except the people who have teams playing on that channel watch games on that channel.

ETA:

We beat the dogshit out of you, will take two 5*s out of Texas that you are recruiting hard, and of course this:

A&M - 8-4 (4-4) #21 BCS, #20 Coaches

LSU - 9-3 (5-3) #16 BCS, #14 Coaches

BUT SCREW THE FACTS!

Absolutely not I noticed that there were no Big 12 teams in the top 15, and only 2 in the top 25 (OU and Okie Lite.) Not even Baylor with the season they had, cracked the list. It wouldn't have mattered if we'd been undefeated in the Big 12, we wouldn't have had the ratings we enjoyed as an SEC team. We are happy to be here!

Honestly, though, I doubt we'd have had this season in the Big 12. That conference is structured in such a way that the rich get richer, and we weren't at the top of the food chain so the deck would have been stacked against us - just like it was stacked against Baylor. Plus, our alumni/fans and sponsors would not be supporting the program at the same level had we stayed in the Big 12. This move has been wonderful for Mizzou in every way.

Texas, meanwhile, has built the conference they wanted, and the one they deserve. I hope they struggle in mediocrity there for years to come.

i'm surprised we made #11 because we got screwed over on our tv placement. we had a few regional games and games on the Duece and no CBS games. However, we're running out of places for Todd to do the Taste of the Town.

To their credit, the Longhorns have had the equivalent of a golden egg laying goose. However, they have failed to properly care for said goose in recent years, putting its ability to lay golden eggs in danger. As such, it would not be a stretch to see Alabama and LSU surpass them in the near future.
