LSU always struggles at the Swamp.

meh

Only time we've gone there and lost a game we really should have won is 2012.

You could say 2006, but they were pretty damn good that year. Those were the two best teams in the country on the field that day.

LSU is 3-3 in the Swamp since 2002.

Yes. We have moral standards. The NCAA seems to agree. frick Meyer.

frick Petrino. Foley would never hire him.

We aren't hiring Tubbs. He's too old. He'd be a terrible hire. I thought you meant someone good at the drop of a hat.

Got any other suggestions? I can't think of any proven drop of a hat coaches I'd want right now.

Perhaps Larry Fedora but is he considered proven at this point. That's all relative I suppose.

true about all of our teams. but reality is never popular amongst fans. I think florida will be in the thick of things in the east. they have no losses while usce and uga have one. and, we shouldn't forget mizzou although I always do. sorry.

This week is one of those extremely rare occasions where I will pull for UF. That being said, any UF fan should be less concerned about Muschamp's future and be more concerned about why Urban Meyer walked away from that program and Steve Spurrier chose to return to the SEC with a rival program instead of UF in 2005.

Is it now forgone conclusion the new OC is a dud?

No, new OC looks pretty awesome so far, Florida looks to be one of the better offenses in the conference right now and is dramatically better than they were the year before the problem is the defense looks to have taken a step back, which lends credence to those who speculated what took Boom's defense from good to elite was Meyer's talent and having Dan Quinn as a DC (you know the same guy who won the Super Bowl in that role last year).

The former happened because Meyer couldn't balance football and life (and seemingly still can't as he's relaxed a bit at OSU and seems to be a worse coach for it) the latter happened because Florida didn't offer SOS, by the time the job was available it was pretty clear that Florida was going to offer Meyer (since he had been hired at Utah by Bernie Machen's administration and Machen had just moved on to the University of Florida).

And LOL at beating Bama or LSU.

Yeah...navy...your ship is gonna sink my kitty friend...just like two years ago in the Swamp when we pounded your azz on the ground and had our way with you.

LSU is a paper tiger...not a great offense and a good defense...UF has great defense against the run pal and Jennings will be facing third and longs all day...he and Dante Fowler will be engaged after the game when Dante gives Jennings a promise ring. We are not Sammy Houston or Sisters of the Poor Northeastern. Prepare to get ripped apart by angry Gators.

Bama is going to find out who we are soon enough.

Not really sure why beating LSU is a longshot to some people-- I get Bama or FSU being a stretch, but Muschamp made LSU quit last time they came to the Swamp, just ran the ball 25 straight times to end the game because the Tigers weren't man enough to stop it, not exactly scared-- I think LSU is around the 4th best team Florida plays and might be the 6th best.

LSU struggles in Gainesville historically. I could easily see a win for UF.

Well yeh. So did Vandy, until Boom. So did Kentucky, until Boom. Im sure Georgia Southern usually struggles on the road, except for, well, Boom. You get my point
