This board is proof to the contrary. Ole Miss aint beating both MSU and AU, so yeah, I'd say this loss affects a lot.

I was walking by some OM fans leaving the stadium last night and about a 70 year old man was rambling about how they should have never hired Freeze and how he's good for blowing at least two games a year by himself. Top 10 team and you want to fire your coach. According to the SECR, I thought LSU fans were the only ones who thought this way.

up. Those 10 points were just frightening.

Perhaps not frightening, but definitely tear-inducing and soul crushing.

Must hurt losing to an insignificant team.

It has WAY more to do with the entitled pretentiousness of Ole Miss people. They finally became pretty good and suddenly, all of the entitlement came flooding back in and the team just absorbed it. When their bubble was burst, they had no ability to engage in good sportsmanship because it was all about them.

That is Ole Miss in a nutshell. I do not blame Freeze for that. It is inherent to the university and the entire tradition there at Ole Miss.

Agreed. There is a strange social climbing desperation about Ole Miss. There is a desperate need to see themselves as Southern blueblood gentry. It's farcical. I went to a Mississippi boarding school and was bludgeoned daily with their weird, super-unmanly obsession with exterior things and social standing. Which is comical, because hey.........Mississippi.

Freeze is a good coach and guy. I feel bad for him that he's saddled with a program and fanbase the caliber of Ole Miss'.

Bo is a mediocre QB that consistently makes bad decisions, it's who he is. Just because he managed to string together 3-4 SEC games where he played solidly doesn't make him a world beater.

Everyone outside of Oxford knew this.

I think so but I can't blame him for the bama thing. Our fans might throw things and yell vulgar things at him but Bama fans have a record for killing people and objects.

Yea, when I see the menstrual blood you're spilling on this board, my first thought is, "there's a gal who is unaffected by this game."

I'm waiting for the gif of buga dragging Bryant along as bryant is holding onto his face mask for dear life. It almost saved ole miss since buga had to go out until we could get him a new helmet
