Of course this is a board filled with good old boys, I'm one as well grew up in the south live in the south, drive a truck and am a 3rd generation Florida cracker.
But I do hate racists, black ones, white ones and every other color equally.
Maybe the extremists in the BLM movement and the Black panthers could be thrown in the ring with the extremists in alt right and the white supremacists, build a wall around them and keep them the heck off of everyone else's lawn.
Most of the true bigots I know are not the ones who I want representing my pasty white arse, quite the opposite, they are usually the most ignorant and saddest excuses for humans that I know. Always seemed ironic to me that, dumbass racists think they are superior to anyone, when in fact is really the opposite.

It's like the housing market and a neighborhood filled with undesirables. Undesirables are not the same as Hillary's "Deplorables". The Undesirables don't take care of the property that they are living in because the majority are renting, so they don't have an economic stake in the overall outlook of their living condition. They won't cut the lawn, won't take out the trash, won't trim the shrubs, won't get any plumbing repaired or won't even do basic grocery shopping. If a street has a few households like that, it can be overlooked. But when that street gets to be around 15 or 20%, the. The other homeowners start looking to get the hell outta dodge. The renters have offspring who are troublemakers to the other long time residents and their kids, so people don't feel comfortable in their own areas anymore. Schools are then bearing the brunt of this unruly and sometimes criminal bunch and problems then persist there. Next thing you know a whole area has changed and more rentals are listed as available. The decline of a neighborhood begins. And this is not specific to any race. It is a disease that can infect any community that no longer stands for social mores and values of old days.

I can't convince you to not think stereotypical things about Muslims or try to persuade you to accept them. All I'm doing is explaining that these views of intolerance are ridiculous. Discrimination and hatred are not true American values. I'm explaining what it's like having basic moral principles such as trying to get to know people and looking at facts before making generalizations. Elementary level logical thinking skills man, so many of you lack them.

Not the word Urban. That means city as opposed to suburbs. So, thank you for pointing out that Houston, one of the most dangerous cities in Houston has a population of 57,000 Muslims.
