So a history degree from Georgia is better than one from LSU?

Is extremely stupid, and it always amazes me how some people just blindly support every SEC team come bowl season. Why the frick would you have wanted Bama to beat Ohio St. or any other SEC team to have a good showing? Your school has to compete with other SEC schools for croots/students/ and other resources. In by book, an ideal bowl season is when my team wins their bowl game, and everybody else gets thrashed by 50 points.

Classic Longwhorn / Boomer Bunny thinking. Big fish in little pond.

Then Baylor and TCU kick your arse and suddenly everyone wants out.

The SEC is the Cadillac of conferences and the schools are nameplates in the Cadillac line.

Not everyone's an Escalade, but you're still an f-n Cadillac.

Competition breeds excellence. If the teams that my team plays every year do well, then it forces my team to improve. It's pretty simple.

I neither "pull against" nor "root" for the other SEC schools.

I watch the bowl games for entertainment purposes only.

I know that you won't understand this but.....whenever the country talks about your conference as being the best and constantly brags about it, it affects the human vote at the end when it's time to make the playoffs.

I mean.....hell.......even now, they're always talking about a 1 loss sec team getting in over an undefeated team from lesser conferences. do you think that they would even bring that up if our conference was anything but the best?
