You think Sims was as good as AJ?

I'd say he has more NFL potential than Tebow.

Divine intervention is the only reason Tebow is still on an NFL roster.

There is a lot to say about "heart". The guy could play some football - might not have been as pretty as some of us would have liked; but he stepped into a pressure cooker situation and made it work.

What is that saying about hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard??

A Toronto Argonauts spokesman tells me Blake Sims has not signed a contract with the team and is not at rookie camp today.
Keep ya posted.

He was an avg. college QB, at best. Had plenty of talent surrounding him at Bama. Doubt he would have started for any other SEC team.

Maybe not, but what about "suck that rough rider off the dick, bitch?"

Best of luck to him. Even shitty QB's rarely get the opportunity to play in the CFL. Hope it works out.

So what's a rookie salary in the CFL?

One of my bama friends said the Ravens were working him out and he was impressing (total hearsay). Guess nothing ever happened with that. Sims impressed me. I expected him to be very average in a Bama running offense, but he played well and pulled out great plays when it was on his shoulders (that crazy 3rd or 4th down late against lsu comes to mind ). Helps he had Amari catching the ball, but overall Kiffin and Sims really impressed me last year.

I can think of at least two others where he would have started easily. (think DBU)
