That wasn't my intention but you're correct: LSU had a comfortable lead from the 5th inning on. So I got your 10 in late innings wrong and I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking. I probably confused that earlier score with another, trying to keep up with 13 teams. My mistake.

I'm looking forward to April 23, regardless of the outcomes. I haven't been to a college baseball game in several decades but this one is a can't miss, I think.

It seems like one of these nights happens to the conference about once a year. It is strange to see though.

We'll see. I'm willing to be patient because I remember that 5-6 year gap we had between Omaha appearances under Tanner where we were kind of average.

If we don't get to 40 wins this year I'm going to be pissed to see that streak broken.

He's a great recruiter, but he doesn't do much in the development department. He's taking a Cadillac and driving it into a ditch. He needs to be removed from the wheel before he sets the car on fire.

Midweek games are weird. We lost to Nicholls. Often, the other team is throwing their ace against your 4th pitcher and they are geeked up like it's the CWS.

No they don't. Why would they do that when he would have to throw that Friday night in conference play

Rankings in March are about as meaningful as preseason rankings.

Ole miss has 2 starting pitchers and two releivers that are SEC ready, the rest of the staff would get shelled by a high school all star team.

We will compete on Friday and Saturday but we will lose most Sunday's and midweek games.

Exactly, I hear this argument from people who are butt hurt their team lost a mid week game. That may happen early in the season before conference play but no one is starting their ace on a Wednesday when they have a conference series the upcoming weekend.

The one that IS weird to me is Mizzou losing to Arkansas Pine Bluff, but that's probably an anomaly.

Vandy was down 6-2 to Middle TN late before waking the bats up and winning 12-7. it's baseball sometimes nights like this happen in the mid week.

Not surprising if UK is saving it's pitching for weekend conference games. Some young guys in the bullpen for them right now.

Bama losing to SouthAL was bizarre at all. I can't envision Bama finishing above .500 overall. Until either the schollies in baseball are evened up by the NCAA or the state schools institute a deferred tuition or something they are gonna struggle. It's not a coincidence that South Car.got good a few years ago. We are playing with just local kids who can live at home and honestly wouldn't be there if we actual schollies to give them. It's also not a coincidence that Bama and AU finish at the bottom every year. Nobody in the SEC should lose to Bama or Auburn. Save 2 or 3 players most everybody at those 2 schools are not much more than walk-ons anywhere else.

Definitely not a good rpi night for the SEC
Getting up for midweek games is not easy sometimes when you come off SEC series that tax your pitching.

How much does Bama throw at Dunn?

Wasn't that back when tDecline merged in with tMelt to form tMelcline?

LSU needs more incessant trolls on the SECR.

Can't speak for the rest of the SEC but it is pretty incredible that UGA can't recruit better in both basketball and baseball.
