Florida’s facilities, while not quite the same wow as Georgia, are really, really nice. I like the setup better than any other ones I’ve been in (have not been in Bama’s). Napier is likable to recruits…he just seems younger and more focused and on them than other head coaches I’ve met.

My son would play for him no doubt.

Man, this place must be full of terrible opinions. I’ve been sarcastic in almost every post today, and people have been responding as if someone is dumb enough to believe what I’m saying.

Then this confirms UF is a "worthless POS" program since Kelly has kept the winning streak to five games against your "worthless POS" program.

Mullen won 10 then 11 games to start his tenure.

Won 11 games on the back of trask and then the "eastern division crown" the following year, also on the back of Trask despite a historically bad defense.

Seems very similar to Bk/ and JD5/House this year.

Yup…JD for sure hid some things that will be ‘surprises’ next season.

Kelly has definitely been fantastic overall in many respects at LSU in his first 2 years, but Mullen was at Florida too.

BK's recruiting has also not been amazing, similar to Mullen at UF (probably a bit better than Dan, but it hasn't been elite).

3rd year will be really telling on the direction of the program, as it often is in pretty much all coaching hires.

This guy gets it. I don’t know any Florida fans looking at Kelly with envious eyes.

CBK had the best player in the country at QB. LSU should have been at least 11-1. How did your defense suck that bad with the talent yall had?

Yeah... the QB that he brought in, developed, and built an offense around... What an indictment of Brian Kelly.

Real 73 IQ take there gump... Cant believe youre making me defend big game Brian...

Defensive talent is in the dumps, literal sunbelt players starting in the secondary... but we should have been able to field an average defense at worse...

His recruiting on the offensive side of the ball has been top notch. Defense is another story, especially at DL and CB. His defensive hires in the coming weeks will be key.

What a troll. Kelly is .500 at LSU against Satan, and he won the SEC West in year one. Obviously you are mentally deficient and in need of help.

Which is surprising to me as I tend to remember his Notre Dame teams having pedestrian, game managing qb types of offenses that relied on stout defensive play to win games.

Not that I followed Notre Dame super close, but I've seen a handful of their games over the years during the BK era.

Well I guess when your offense is firing on all cylinders it's easier to recruit offensive players. We have JD to thank for that. Brad Davis, our OL coach, is probably the best recruiter on staff. On the other hand, our putrid defense doesn't inspire much confidence if you're a recruit, and most of them know that most if not all of our defensive staff are about to be replaced, so they don't know who would be coaching them next season.

That makes sense about recruiting. I meant however that the identity of BK's LSU having such and explosive offense and such a terrible defense is what surprised me in the first place given the track record of past teams.

Then again, he has shown an ability to make changes and adjustments in the past, so maybe the type of talent he has at a place like LSU leant itself to have offenses like that which he never could do at ND.

If you have an embarrassment kink just say so. The rest of us get upset with 11-14 with UF resources.

Do you mean the resources to fire 4 coaches in 10 years? Or the facilities that are less than 2 years old that finally caught Florida up with the rest of the SEC? Maybe you’re referring to the failed NIL collective from last year? I bet you’re referring to Florida’s last 15 years of success on the field to keep the school in the national spotlight for recruits. Speaking of recruits, you might be referring to the elite recruiting classes that Mullen provided Napier before he quit. What resources did UF have when Napier took over that set him up for success? He has had to put absolutely everything in place during his first 2 seasons and he hasn’t even been at UF for 2 full years yet.
