Losing Stansbury was his undoing.

Really like the idea of Buzz in the conference. Looks like we’re entering a golden era of SEC basketball.

NO SHOT! He's got had a ticket with blue bloods for some time. Money talks, but aTm would be a huge step down from Marquette (then) and VT (now).

Supposedly it's Buzz, and the details are being ironed out. Looking forward to some more competent coaching in CS! This time on the basketball court

I could see that happening. He is playing second fiddle in his own state behind UVA.

The latest: Why Buzz Williams remains a favorite at Texas A&M
quote:

Once Williams, 46, is done with his season at Virginia Tech — and the Hokies are built to win at least a couple of games in the postseason — he’s expected to pack his bags and load up his family for College Station.

“The wide expectation among college basketball insiders is that Williams will be the next coach at Texas A&M,” national college basketball columnist Seth Davis recently said. “If Williams turns this down, a lot of folks around the sport will be quite surprised.”
