"I watched him play in Alabama's spring game, and in my view, he was the best QB," says Curry, whose roster features 28 transfers, including six from FBS schools. "But I told him that we wouldn't just hand it to him. His response was important to me. He said, 'I know that. I just want a chance to help you build the program you want.' That was exactly the right answer."

Hell, Chris Todd didn't even play in last year's spring game.

Entertain me, if you will (and this is highly hypothetical), but what if Ga State was to upset Bama in the grandest form of schadnfreude ever. I'm not discussing how it could happen, or even if it has a chance at occuring, but what would the gumps do? How do you handle that?

I wonder if he'll have his team listening to "Wind beneath my wings" prior to the game to get them fired up like he did when he was at UA.

There aren't enough words to describe the chaos that would ensue. People would be shot. Wives would be battered. Kids would be crying. Youtube videos would abound.

If your mom had a dick, she'd be your dad.

See? What ifs are, well, pointless.

And what if you could, um, "entertain me, if you will". If you don't want to think about the scenario then ignore the post

I will answer it for you. It would be an epic meltdown of our fanbase that we would never live down. A first year program with one of our rejects starting at QB? Plus our old coach that we fired for not being able to win big games? That would be awful. Just awful.

Ok I will play. What if.....CMR has another shitty year and UGA hires Bill Curry?

Ok...if Georgia State beats Alabama, it'd be bigger than any win that Georgia has had in the past 10 years (yes, bigger than the Sugar Bowl). Would that make Georgia the third best team in the state?

Well if by shitty you mean 8-5, then it'd be another two years (unless it's a losing season, Richt will be given two years for the new D to be installed). And I doubt Curry and UGA would work out. We'd go after Petersen from Boise or some younger guy that could have some longevity

I'd readily concede that to be a bigger win than any UGA has posted lately. But we'd be 2nd best at worst (Tech is forever beneath us)

I don't know which spring game he was watching. Star played pretty good, but didn't look like the best QB there
