Kiffin incorporated more of it last year, but that was mainly to make it easier for Sims (for whatever reason). But Saban would still prefer to have all teams slow things down, and huddle some.

The Rantards will take this news with their usual level of objectivity and reasoned analysis...

Alabama athletic director Bill Battle is chairing the new College Football Officiating Competition Committee, giving Alabama coach Nick Saban a valuable ally on a diverse group tasked with examining Division I football's playing rules.

I'm just glad that I see my REC checks being put to good use. We have been losing some recruiting battles lately, and I was starting to wonder what they were spending my money on.

Never doubt the REC.

Oh yeah, pretty objective. Bama ties, Bama alumni, or even Tuscaloosa High alumni:

SEC Office - check
Head of SEC Officiating - check
Head of SEC Scheduling - check
Head Replay Official in SECCG Pressbox - check
now
Head of CFG Officiating Competition Committee - check

If these 5 were all in Downtown New Orleans and had LSU and Baton Rouge High alumni heading them, would YOU think """""""""""T H A T"""""""""" was.....what was the word you used again ??
Umm, OH YEAH !!! -

Objective ??????????????????

And as far as "reasoned analysis" - since all the above are ACTUAL FACTS, did my 'analysis' pass ????

Cue the 'he mad' 'butthurt' Junior Samples who for some reason think this is a joke............

(Not to mention the Saban "handlers" who coach at Louisiana high schools - knowing Louisiana is the #1 state in the nation per capita in blue chip recruits.
