In the three major sports(football, baseball, and basketball.) I'd say Eli Manning for us. Our only 1st overall pick, top 3 Heisman finalist, and Superbowl MVP.

Bear Bryant and Adolph Rupp are obviously up there. Pat Riley is no slouch either though. With everybody who has come through basketball this is a tough one.

I thought it was close between Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler. Joe's personality made him a world-wide figure so I would say him too

Obvious answer is Bo Jackson.

Cam Newton could be close behind depending on how his career plays out. Charles Barkley gets some consideration as well.

I like Kent Hull myself, but I suppose it would be a baseball guy: Raffy, Will Clark, Jeff Brantley, Buck Showalter. Can throw Ron Polk in there too.

Erick Dampier basketball.

Would you say Derek Anderson would be near the top as far as basketball players? Either him or Keyana Azubuke. I know I probably murdered that spelling but you get it

You mean Kelenna Azubuike?

Yes, I'd put Anderson up there but not Azubuike. But you still have guys like Jamal Mashburn, Rex Chapman, Dan Issel, Sam Bowie, and etc. that have rolled through as well.

Well, you had to know Kent to really appreciate him.

He was the best center in the NFL when he played. Forget how many Pro Bowls he was in. And an even better person.

Just quiet, and played a position that's not really talked up much.

I don't know. To Auburn fans I know Bo reigns supreme, but Charles has been in the spotlight since the early 80s and is still quotable.
