I say 2004 because that's when our IPF was built along with our first baseball expansion. We expanded our stadium in 2002 and did a very small addition in 98, but other than that we did nothing for facilities in the big 3 sports for decades. That's why we are so far behind.

Most of the A&M-Ark all time record comes from SWC days when Ark DID out recruit A&M. But that pipeline is long gone, and even playing A&M in Dallas didn't bring it back. Pretty soon we will break that contract just to keep it from coming back.
In that recent series Arky has had one of the best coaches in their history. He is gone, and guys like him that win without top recruiting don't grow on trees.

A girl I became very good friends with when I moved to MS was from Iuka(sp) and went to Ole Miss. I laughed at the way she talked for the first two months I knew her. Her accent is so awesome.

The first big one for Alabama from opposing fans is that Bama fans are overly "delusional" or have "unrealistic expectations" as far as the football program is concerned. This was parroted over and over when Shula was fired as Alabama shouldn't expect to do any better than a coach with 3 losing seasons in 4 years. Alabama was "delusional" for firing Shula and for thinking Saban would give us the time of day. After all, Shula won 10 games the year before, nevermind the other 3 years with 3, 4, and 6 wins. 
The other big one for Alabama is that they run coaches off if they don't win a national championship. Another ridiculous myth. Shula was run off because he refused to changed his staff and he won 26 games in 4 years despite having a 10 win season one year. Bill Curry had a contract extension waiting for him and contrary to popular opinion was reasonably popular among the majority of the fanbase. He bailed on Alabama because he didn't like some of the bigger boosters and vice versa.
