I'm gonna get downvoted to hell but I think LSU has a decent chance to be one.

Our coach proved nothing yet was hired and praised by our AD and our entire athletic department has been a joke for the last half decade.... I could see all coming to a boil with a shite season resulting in cleaning house (which I would love)

Bama

Their run is over

Sure they may win 8 or 9 games this yr but the decline will be real, steady and unforgiving.

Will be fun to watch

Who will be the biggest shite show in the SEC in football this season that is not named Ole Miss?

The loser of the A&M v Arkansas game.

Auburn is set up to fail with the hype.

aTm has dumpster fire potential

Ole Miss is already there

Dont really care about UT

all this is fun but as an LSU fan, if LSU loses a couple games early and makes the BYU or Cuse games close, the melt will cause shifts in tectonic plates

I have a bad feeling about Kentucky.

Only because I remember years when MSU was set to take the next step up in the conference, getting predictions as dark-horse contenders etc., only to crap the bed every time.

You can switch in Vandy for me. I'm terrified that something is going to go REALLY wrong like losing to MTSU then Kansas State which just leads to the wheels coming off completely.

As far as teams falling way below expectations, I think it could very well be LSU with Coach O, but he was good at media days.

It's funny to me that "hype" is now considered as "predicted by many to finish 2nd in the West."

Quite honestly, Tennessee has a very good chance to be there. Kentucky and Vandy both have a chance at mediocrity, and that is the standard we here in the east live up to.

Easily Texas A&M to me. Unless they have a great year, Sumlin will be fired. I don't see them being any good this year.

Texas A&M with an honorable mention for LSU.

I get LSU this year (Guice and a salty defense) but I honestly have no read on A&M this year whatsoever.

Who knows, we could shite the bed, it is certainly a hand we play from our deck some years, but Stidham has already proven he's not a deer in the headlights like Jeremy. And we also have a proven backup who won six straight games last year and led the SEC in quarterback rating before he got hurt.

He may very well play lights out..I just know I reluctantly bought into the Jeremy Johnson hype and got schooled.

537 yards & 6 TDs is what Guice ran for in your houses last season.
