Wouldn't the matchup with OU in the first round be more beneficial to bama? That gives Saban a month to prepare. If it's MSU you will have less time to prepare for OU.

Gonna be interesting to see next year when Saban loses Kirby smart and that guy that is supposedly a part of all game planning (if they leave). Add on a very young team. I'll be first in line to pile on if there is a decline due to the massive amounts of douchebaggery from Bama fans.

Watched the news last night. (At least) 2 murders in Bham.
Unrelated to those two murders, a pedestrian was struck and killed lat night...and while the police were there investigating, another car pulled up with a gunshot victim in it. Bad night in Bham.

For you bigham folks, how is the area where the Sheraton is? My company used to put us up at the Hyatt Place near UAB, which I liked, but there were too many of us there everyday so they moved us back to the Sheraton. Seems like okay during the day?

Sheraton is in the Uptown district, which is pretty safe. You'll be fine there. No reason to go walking around sight seeing though. The surrounding areas are pretty rough.
