A win against AU will probably insure Ritchs job is safe though.

That seems to do the trick.

One of those teams started the season #6, picked to win the SEC behind a Heisman winning quarterback, picked by many to go to the playoff. These predictions came before that team struggled with Lousiville and Jacksonville State, was throttled by LSU, lost again to Mississippi State, and struggled with San Jose State. Said team had to bench the aforementioned Heisman favorite after three games and dismiss their best offensive player for fighting other players after five games.

The other team started with hopes of a major bowl and preseason #9, with a Heisman candidate halfback. After being beaten 10-38 by the defending conference champions at home, they were further demoralized the following week by losing their best player to injury on the first play from scrimmage. They went on to lose by seven on the road against a rival due to a blown three touchdown lead and a horrible dropped touchdown late.

Anyone who thinks AU is in better shape as a program then UGA may need to have their head checked.

This thread is stupid. AU is a dumpster fire right now. No interest in comparisons to anybody.

Auburn should of lost to Jacksonville State and looked pathetic against SJS. At least UGA beat the crap out of their terrible opponents.

UGA hasn't won the SEC in 10 years or a National Championship in 35 years

Wouldn't be much point in asking the question after it has already been answered.

After that game and after the season, we can let hindsight answer the question.

Well Richt, the shittiest of all SEC coaches, owns Auburn. I doubt that trend will change, so I’ll say Auburn. As bad as UGA is this season, they’ll beat the War Eagle Tigers

Probably. But that will just insure he stays at UGA and nothing significant will ever be won.

Meanwhile we will likely get pissed and win an SEC title and make a run at the NC again sometime in the next few years.

I still think Auburn will be fine. I'd love to dance on their grave but they'll beat UK and Ark and they get UGA, OM and Alabama at home. They'll win at least one of those games that they aren't supposed to.

UGA is just not good.

I rest my case.

Neither team is winning any trophies this year.

GA blew a 21 point lead. That was bad. We went to OT against JSU that was terrible.

GA was predicted to win the East. Auburn to win the West. Tenn and Arky were both the trendy picks in their division.

AU qb has looked completely lost. Our star guy on defense only played 13 minutes this season. Georgia lost one of the best running backs in the country and had a qb who looked great look very mundane in the last two games. I think we are a worse team than Georgia, but I am not willing to call any team a dumpster fire until the end of the season.

Let's face it, this has been a disappointing season for lots of SEC teams with a few pleasant surprises for some fans (FL for example)

There is still a lot of football to be played. I for one, would like both AU and GA to have good records when we go into the DSOR (which is tied atm, right?)

AU.

UGA hasn't been taken to overtime by the likes of Jacksonville State.
