Here goes.

West

1 - Bama. McCarron proves once again he is capable of putting his team on his back and winning tough games. The defense hung on for dear life but the offense looked better. They are at the top until they lose.

2 - LSU. The chemistry between Mett and Cam Cameron is paying huge dividends. LSU is squarely in the race for Atlanta.

3 - aTm. JFF hasn't lost a step this year. If they had anything close to a top 50 defense this year they would more likely than not be the favorite to win it all. They do no control their destiny in the west any more, however they are extremely dangerous.

4 - Mississippi. The Rebs are an impressive 3-0 after winning in Austin. The young players are improving and this team isn't finished with upsets.

5 - Arkansas. 2Bs has these guys on the right track. They have an imposing running game, and their defense is much improved. After the new system is recruited towards, you will rise in the rankings in future years.

6 - Auburn. Malzahn has brought some pride back to the plains. He seems to have something to work with in the qb, but he'll have to catch on fast.

7 - MSU. This team is better than their ranking. They are just sandwiched into a brutal division. I like Dak.

East

1 - UGA. throw out the loss to Clemson, because it is irrelevant in sec play. They have the upper hand because they have beaten the cocks, Murray is experienced, and they have the best individual tailback in the nation. UGA is a force.

2 - UF. They have this spot by the thinnest of margins. The defense is superb but the reincarnation of JJ is running the offense. Hopefully the UM loss was a wake up call.

3 - USC. The cocks are always a threat with the HBC at the helm. Although they need some help, they could go on a run and overtake UF.

4 - Missouri. Technically, they are the only undefeated team in te east. Their season goes as Franklin goes. Can he live up to the billing?

5 - Vanderbilt. Sure, they may be 0-2 in conference, but that doesn't tell the entire story. They are a physical football team that played two hot teams close.

6 - Tennessee. The Butch Jones era isn't going to warp into high speed after three games. It will take a few more cycles to really move up much.

7 - Kentucky. Hey, at least basketball starts in a few months.

the only freshmen QBs that AU has are a walk on scout team qb and a soon to be red-shirted qb.

yeah your ranking is flawed. Florida and UT play this weekend and I'd give them each about the same chance of winning. That shouldn't be true for #2 vs #6.

If you are missing on details like that, you probably shouldn't be making power rankings.

Florida wins by AT LEAST 10. Now, that may end up being 10-0 but that game will not be in doubt after halftime

Cam v2... he was a qb in hs, went to UGA where he played db as a frosh, got kicked out, went to jc where he was #1 jc qb, and then to AU this year.

fair enough rankings, but hard to judge with so many lame OOC games teams have played.

Mizz gonna beat the shite out of Tenn, Kentucky, Florida, and Vandy.

And I have a feeling Flarda beats the cocks.

Mizz might finish #2 in the East

If they are better than their ranking then rank them accordingly. You are doing the rankings right?
